NPC FOOD PANTRY: Ways to Donate

The Food Pantry will be closed on Wednesday, December 25, 2024 in observance of Christmas and Wednesday, January 1, 2025 in observance of New Year’s Day.

The Food Pantry is open Mon, Wed & Fri, from 10am-12pm. Currently, individuals are allowed inside only in limited numbers at once. Thank you.

How to Donate to the Food Pantry

Monetary Gifts – Please make check payable to North Pres Food Pantry and mail to North Presbyterian Church, 921 College Ave. Elmira, NY 14901.

Non-Perishable Food Gifts – The Food Pantry happily accepts food or non-food item donations (see examples below). Monetary donations are also welcome and appreciated. Thank you.

Suggested Food Gifts : Canned soups, fruits, vegetables, and pastas (like Spaghetti O’s). Cereal, Peanut Butter, Jelly, Tuna fish, Spaghetti, Spaghetti Sauce, Macaroni & Cheese, Pork & Beans, and Juice. There is also a need for non-food items such as: shampoos, laundry detergent, soap, bath tissue, etc.

The following items are always welcome at the North Pres Food Pantry:

Fresh fruits and vegetables;
Whole wheat pasta;
Low-salt canned vegetables;
Canned fruit in light syrup;
Whole grain cereals;
Low-sodium canned beans;
Toilet paper, toothpaste, shampoo
